Blackberry users overseas are up in arms with the failing RIM company. As of yesterday users around the globe reported that they were unable to use BlackBerry services such as BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), access email, as well as other services that utilized internet functionality. A 12 hour outage took place in parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa between 10am to 10pm UK time. This is a crisis that is still being investigated by RIM technicians but it seems that the outage was a result of a server problem. Technology experts are questioning why business companies who have the ability to back up their data and have them rerouted to backup servers were unable to do so. At the moment RIM is not speaking out on the recent outage further causing speculation as to the future of the once strong company.
